These plans will be incorporated into the master water control manuals. The framework of the plan addresses several basic elements emphasizing actions that are to be taken prior to and during a drought. These elements include drought identification, water uses and users, constraints, drought management plan and public information. A cooperative effort is underway with state Federal agencies to review the DCP for exchanging information relative to water management decisions and responding to a water shortage.
