The transfer of organisms from low to high or from high to low salinities resulted in an immediated change in sodium efflux rates. This change was primarily dependent on the sodium chloride concentration, not the osmotic concentration of the external medium.shrimp cultureshrimp fisheriescrustacean fisheriesosmoregulationPalaemonetes pugiograss shrimpSodium kinetics in the shrimp, Palaemonetes pugio.
