Penaeus setiferus post-larvae acclimated at two temperatures (20 and 34C) were tested for thermal resistence at six lethal temperatures for each acclimation temperature (35-40C; 36-41C). The temperature which causes 50% mortality 10,000 minutes was between 35 and 36C for postlarvae acclimated at 24C and between 36 and 37C for those acclimated at 29 and 34C.Penaeus aztecuspenaeid shrimpbrown shrimpwhite shrimpjuvenilesmortalityPenaeus setiferusThermal resistance and acclimation rate in young white and brown shrimp, Penaeus setiferus Linn. and Penaeus aztecus Ives.Technical Report
