Adult game fish samples indicated that an average population of 0.75 pounds per acre of trout, Cynoscion nebulosus, 0.36 pounds per acre of redfish, Sciaenops ocellata, and 0.39 pounds per acre of drum, Pogonias cromis, existed in the area in 1964. Flounder, Paralichthys lethostigma, were caught in insignificant numbers. A total of 341 fish was tagged and 24 tags were returned.
