Abstract

The project consists of constructing approximately 12 miles of SH 146 as a controlled-access facility in southeastern Harris County and northeastern Galveston County on new location. The location and design are least disruptive of the environment and affected communities. Relocation will be required to five families, one business, and one non-profit organization. Overall noise and air pollution levels will be diminished. Erosion control procedures will minimize the possibility of pollution of Clear Lake and Dickinson Bayou during and after construction.
