This project was developed through GBEP for the TNRCC. The overall project objective was to provide technical information and assistance to cities that will be impacted by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Storm Water regulations that were promulgated December 8, 1999. The regulations will be implemented by a general permit that is being developed for continued technology transfer to all local governments in the Galveston Bay watershed regarding the Phase II permit program. This was accomplished by the following activities, which are discussed further in this Final Report: - Provide a half-day workshop on the Phase II requirements - Establish a forum for cities, agencies and organizations to obtain information (Technical Advisory Committee) - Meet with an identified target city and review the city capabilities for Phase II - Develop a model SWMP and implementation plan for the target city - Assist GBEP with website expansion - Develop public educational materials for dissemination - Conduct summary presention.en_US
