Abstract
This document presents information on the presence and absence of selected marine species in six areas of the coastal and oceanic waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Each area is defined by its distance from the coast: a) 0-200 miles, b) 0-3 miles, c) 3-12 miles, d) 12-200 miles, e) 0-12 miles, and f) 3-200 miles. Data for each area are organized by species according to three attributes: overall range, relative adult abundance (major adult areas), and commercial fishing areas. Summary tables and maps are included.
