Environmental assessment of an active oil field in the northwestern Gulf of Mexico, 1976-1977.

The goal of Buccaneer Oil Field Project is to establish and evaluate the effects of active oil fields on marine ecosystems in the northwestern Gulf of Mexico. To make readily available the large amount of data gathered and analyzed, an effective data management system was created with the objectives of ensuring an integrated master project data set and providing a smooth flow of data products from field collectors to analysis and to ultimate users.
