Abstract
Since January 1962, plankton samples have been collected monthly at 60 stations located in the Gulf of Mexico between the Mississippi River Delta and Brownsville, Texas. The occurrence and number of larval and early postlarval shrimp in the samples provide seasonal information concerning distribution, relative abundance, spawning activity, and survival rate.
