Abstract

This guidebook begins by introducing the different types of wetlands, how they were formed, and their major characteristics. The authors identify 111 wetland sites that are accessible to the public. For each site, information is given on location, size, type, recreation/education, and description. This guidebook attempts to highlight the valuable relationship between wetlands and the benefits to human communities.
