New records of three marine fish from Texas waters with notes on some additional species

Records are presented for 3 species of marine fish new to Texas waters. Notes on the biology, occurrence, and taxonomy of 8 other species are also given. A summary of the 62 new records of marine fish from Texas which have appeared in the literature since 1958 is given along with a short discussion concerning the tropical affinities of most of the newly reported species.
