The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of fluctuating and constant salinities on survival and growth of fishes, to compare feeding and aggressive behavior of fishes in monoculture and polyculture, and to evaluate the suitability of several fishes for aquaculture in heated power- plant effluent in terms of survival, growth, and behavior. The fishes studied were tarpon, sheepshead, pinfish, spot, black and red drum, Atlantic croaker, and striped mullet.en_US
