Abstract
This four-month field study was conducted from September through December, 1974. Using an open-ended interview schedule, interviews with 29 marina operators in the Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Aransas, Galveston Bay, and Port Arthur areas were conducted. This study found that no new marinas had been developed along the Texas Gulf coast in the last nine years. During this time however, boat sales have boomed.
