Copies of all papers submitted for publication from the 1978 Conference are included along with pertinent discussion excerpts. Editing of the papers and the discussions are the responsibility of the conference coordinator. The objective of this conference remains the same as the seven conferences preceding it, "to present to the fish farmers of Texas the best and latest information on fish culture." At the same time, we strive to portray the information in such a manner that it is imost usable to the practicing fish farmer. Future conferences will also present information for the potential fish farmer.
