Abstract

Pacific salmon smolts have been reared in saline ponds fertilized with domestic wastewaters. An artificial homestream is to be created from the discharge of a marsh-lake system to be developed with reclaimed wastewater. This proposed salmon ranching method has the potential for producing food cheaply.
