Methodology for Assessing Onshore Impacts for Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Development

Abstract

Volume II contains the detailed description of a set of methodologies capable of assessing the onshore implications of Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) oil and gas exploration, development/production and well workover. The Volume III - Baltimore Canyon Test Case, implements the methodologies contained in Volume II. The test case is structured around a "possible" Baltimore Canyon resource discovery and recovery scenario. This test case is not intended to be a stand-alone exercise. The reader must be familiar with the Volume II methodologies. Many insights and labor-saving exercises were developed during the test case, and are noted in the appropriate sections of Volume III. It is strongly recommended that anyone wishing to apply the methodologies become familiar with both volumes.
