This report provides first hand information on the trends and conditions that have occurred in the commercial and recreational fisheries of the southwestern United States during the 1990. The information and much of the text were provided by the federal and state fishery reporting specialists that are located in major fishing ports region. The statements on trends and conditions in this report are based on anecdotal information supplied by the reporting specialists and do not necessarily represent analyzed data. The report also includes preliminary data on the commercial and recreational fishery landings for 1990.
