Abstract

A month by month account of rare birds found in the Texas Coast area. The author describes the habits and rituals of the twenty-two species that occur throughout a period of one year. The author also describes the different species, making it possible to identify them. The effects of humans and the need for undisturbed habitats for these birds are discussed.
