Human growth - An Essay on Growth, Values and the Quality of Life

This essay resulted from an Aspen Institute seminar, during the summer of 1977, in which 45 people from eight countries and 33 professions tried to figure out what was wrong with the "growth ethic" and what its successor might be as an organizing principle for the remaining years of this century, and beyond.
