dc.description.abstractA checklist of stomatopod crustaceans known from the Gulf of Mexico is presented, annotated with distributional data. Five of the thirteen species recorded from the Gulf are known to have extensive ranges, at least from the Carolinas to Brazil. Several of these wide-ranging forms have been recorded from the vicinity of Galveston, Texas.en_US
