Approximate change in water levels in wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers 1977-86 and 1985-86, and measured compaction 1973-86, in the Houston-Galveston region, Texas

This report consists of two data sheets, four maps, 47 cm X 37 cm, with latitude 30 00'N - 29 00'N and longitude 95 45'W - 94 45'W, and one map, 15 cm X 21 cm, with the same latitude and longitude. The first four maps present data on water-level changes during 1977-86 and 1985-86 in 400 wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers in the Houston-Galveston, Texas region. The data sheets concern measured compaction at 12 well sites from 1973-86. The fifth map identifies locations of borehole extensometers.
