This document is intended to a state-of-the-art users manual on constructed wetlands for those engineers, planners, technicians, and livestock producers who have more than just a casual interest in the subject of constructed wetlands for treating livestock wastes. It will condense some of the information contained in the CWLW report, a more data-intensive companion publication to this document. It will also provide other practical information intended to help the user understand the value of constructed wetlands and how they might be included as part of an animal waste management system. The user should refer to the CWLW report if detailed background tables and other supporting material are needed.
