Results are presented of a study to determine the acoustical noise distribution and impacts of the geothermal/geopressure well drilling operation near Chocolate Bayou in South Texas. Detailed noise survey data were included in a part of the study for computer simulations to develop representative and worst-case drilling operation noise predictions. Also conducted were baseline noise measurements throughout the Peterson Landing residential area.
