This annotated bibliography assembles published information on the barrier islands of the U.S. Atlantic and Gulf coasts. It was prepared for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Coastal Ecosystems Project. The bibliography is arranged geographically by state and island from Maine to Texas. It includes 12 references pertaining to the Galveston Bay area.
