The proposed action is the issuance of permits for continued shell dredging in San Antonio Bay, Texas, subject to controls and pertinent regulations. Permits are issued for a three-year time period. ... This environmental statement comprises a part of the administrative processing by the Corps of Engineers relative to evolution of permits for dredging of shell from San Antonio Bay, Texas. The statement is written in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. It is based on an environmental impact assessment performed by Texas A&M Research Foundation, a copy of which is attached.
