Approximate water-level changes in wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers 1977-85 and 1984-85, and measured compaction 1973-85, in the Houston-Galveston region, Texas

This report consists of one data sheet, four maps, 47 cm X 38 cm, with latitude 30 00'N - 29 00'N and longitude 95 45'W - 94 45'W, and one map, 15 cm X 21 cm, with the same latitude and longitude. The first of four maps presents data on water-level changes during 1977-85 and 1984-85 in 500 wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers in the Houston-Galveston, Texas region. The data sheet concerns measured compaction at 12 well sites from 1973-85. The fifth map identifies locations of borehole extensometers.
