Hydrographic and Meteorological Study of the Upper Laguna Madre - Analysis of Populations of Sports and Commercial Fin-Fish and of Factors Which Affect These Populations in the Coastal Bays of Texas

Abstract

Water temperature and salinities were measured at each of 11 stations in the Upper Laguna Madre once each month. These readings, plus monthly rainfall, air temperature, and wind velocity are presented. Salinities were higher in 1964 than in 1963 although total rainfall was 21.71 inches in 1964 as compared with 14.66 inches in 1963.
