Abstract

The Nutrient Enrichment Potential Watershed Assessment & Comparison (NEPWAC) System is a simple spreadsheet program that can be used to investigate and compare indicators of nutrient enrichment potential across 31 watersheds draining to the Gulf of Mexico. The System, developed for the Nutrient Enrichment Subcommittee of the Gulf of Mexico Program, helps users learn more about the sources and quantities of nutrient discharge within and among Gulf watersheds.
