Protecting the commons. A framework for resource management in the Americas

A variety of common-pool resources are examined in this volume, such as atmospheric and water resources, fisheries, forests, and medical care as they relate to the Western Hemisphere. The goal is to examine a range of natural and cultural resources. Examples will be provided from which successful solutions of sustainable management of resources have been found.
