Abstract

Barbour's Cut Container Terminal receives 80% of all containerized cargo moving through Texas ports. Because this facility has reached capacity, the Port of Galveston's Easy End container terminal has been leased. The only way to keep up with the demand is to build a new container complex. A plan has been developed to build a fully intermodal terminal at Bayport.
