This document discusses the adaptations necessary for shoreside disposal of plastic materials. Annex V of MARPOL prohibits the dumping of all plastics into the marine environment. This document gives details of requirements of services to be provided by shoreside facilities mandated by Annex V. Included in this document is the logistics and APHIS facilities needed.
