The project is overseen by a subcommittee called the Beneficial Uses Group. The goals of the 50 year project include: 1)construction of 4,250 acres of salt marsh, 2) construction of a 12 acre bird island near Bolivar Marsh, 3) construction of boater access and anchorage, 4) restoration of Goat Island, and 5) restoration of Redfish Island.
