Abstract

The Southeast Regional Office (SERO) and the Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC) are components of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the Department of Commerce. SERO, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, is primarily responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of fishery management and marine conservation programs. SEFSC, located in Miami, Florida, carries out its research programs from 7 laboratories located in Miami and Panama City, Florida; Pascagoula and Stennis Space Center Mississippi; Beaufort, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; and Galveston Texas. Center activities include multi-disciplinary research programs consistent with national and regional program needs of the NMFS. Includes abstracts, graphs and tables, and questions/discussions. Complete paper are not included.
