Abstract

Due to the world-wide use of tributylin (TBT) containing antifouling paint, there is considerable concern about its fate in the marine environment. The objective of this study was to continue the analyses of oysters as biomonitors of available butyltins after implementation of the U.S. Organotin Paint Control Act of 1988 (OAPCA).
