Abstract

The following report describes the dye dispersion study of the San Jacinto River tidal segment conducted by Farner & Winslow, Inc. The study was conducted for the Houston-Galveston Area Council and the Texas Water Quality Board as part of the Area- wide Waste Treatment Management Plan for the Houston, Texas area. The purpose of the study was to determine the dispersion characteristics of the San Jacinto River tidal segment under relatively low-flow steady-state conditions.
