Abstract

Texas Point and McFaddin National Wildlife Refuges contain 50,654 acres of marshland on the upper Texas coast. The two areas, acquired in 1979 and 1980 with duck stamp revenues, are important links in the chain of refuges administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service extending southward along the Gulf coast of Texas.
