Abstract

This appendix contains effect assessments of the five plans (plus two combinations) studied in detail. For details of these plans and the process by which they were developed, see Plan Formulation (Appendix B). The nature of the effects assessments considered was developed through the scoping process and experience with similar projects. Effects considered are: (1) Changes in the heights of hurricane surge. (2) Changes in bay salinity. (3) Impacts to natural resources. (4) Impacts to cultural resources. (5) Effects on study area socioeconomic condition. (6) Effects on the risk of major oil spills.
