Abstract

Vioscalba louisianae and Odostomia weberi are minute estuarine gastropods with maximum shell heights of 3.3 and 1.7mm, respectively. A total of 355 live specimens of V. louisianae were taken in bottom samples from Upper Trinity Bay, Texas during the period of October 1969- December 1970. One live specimen of O. weberi was collected from the same area on 19 June 1972. These records extend the range of V. louisianae and O. weberi approximately 270 mi W of previously reported localities.; TAMUG periodical collection.
